Farad super3 setup for the Chord Dave After reading a lot on the forums about upgrading the LPS (linear power supply) of the Chord Dave and the results people are getting by adding a Paul Hynes or Sean Jacobs DC4 power supply, I was eager to get one on my own set. I already had a Farad Super3 on...

Hi guys just finished this week with my farad los setup for the chord dave, darad made a new true negative lps and we made a monitoring pcb for the because the farads startup sequence is different per voltage. I just replaced my filters in the be10 and those are also physically separate filters. One for bass and one for mid and high. Ofcourse like all filters it are three. How are you tri-wire a two filter setup? Better to tri amp it doubt that three separate wires will make a difference or you have...

X tower is pretty much a be-10 but with 7” mids and detachable bass. Would be nice to hear them next to each other. Hearing what that mid difference does

Did some acoustic treatment on the walls and few basstraps. And added twin set of s812 rel’s its amazing how the soundstage improved and the setup opend up. A twin sub is amazing how much this brings you even when the mains are not that bad. The hairs on the arms are up again. Insane. After...

I got a relative small problematic room with wooden floor and beams. With my td10 i need the sub to correct it and get that ultimate sub low that makes the music complete. I guess you have concrete and a bigger cellar and be20 so less problematic. I got alot of standing waves i try to deal with...

Never play that loud, found there is always one level a song sounds like it should. When i play at that level the whole house is starting to complain but theres much more in the ushers. I have an active rel sub maybe thats the extra punch you were missing. i have a difficult room bass wise.

Just upgraded my be-10 dmd to td10 bought set diamond mids and new filters. Sound is more open and detailed than the berilliums. Voices are nicer. And the old ones were already great. Not that expensive to exchange the mids.
