Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

Perhaps this is the case with the SGM server, but the reality is most of the manufacturers will not budge on the MSRP when a trade in is part of the deal. Here again is an example where the product is not being sent in for an upgrade, it is being sent in to the manufacturer where it will be...

Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

My interpretation of your post is that you are supporting the idea that investing big bucks in a product that uses technology that is literally changing daily will maintain its value and remain SOTA because the upgrade paths and/or generous trade in credits offered by manufacturers will...

Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

You got me up to the Zenith SE/Statement part. This scenario (if I understand your journey correctly) is a perfect example of why we need to be MORE cautious to spend big bucks at this stage. Afaik the SE is/was not upgradeable to the Statement because a whole new platform was implemented...

USB cable would be analogous to speaker cables from your amp to speakers.

Maybe look at this scenario like you would a power cable into your Lamm amplifiers.

    House internet Wiring

If the distance from where your service comes into the house to your router is less than a couple meters then I would just use copper (nothing too elaborate) to the router and convert to optic after the router to the stereo. Regarding overall sound quality and minimizing noise, my experience...

    House internet Wiring

Hi Bodhi, Whether you have 'fiber to the home' or not you can convert the Ethernet connection where your service comes into your home back to fiber optic. You will need to convert the optic cable back to copper at your router. The cost of the fiber optic cable is far less than any CAT cable...

A ProgRock evening with JBL 4312SE speakers

It should be noted that the OP stated he had the Anat II Ref. Pro’s. These were not the same YG of today.
