Yes, indeed, two days are too short for the whole show without running through the halls. The only solution is asking an exhibitor for 4-day-tickets…

    tima's DIY RCM

Dear Tim, waiting for the filter drove me to starting reading the Elma manuals of Easy 120H and P 120H. There are two questions which didn't come clear to me: 1. Elma states in the manual clearly "Never use flammable liquids...Risk of fire and explosion." You use a ratio 250ml IFP to 12l DIW...

Hey Neil, hey Tim, I want to give some feedback about your great, at which I am still working. Nowadays not every part is so easy and quick to get here in Germany as I expected. The small parts as hoses and fitting are quick ordered at amazon, but after three weeks even some is under shipment...

'Warm Your Heart' Aaron Neville, 45rpm vinyl from ORG---wow!

I don‘t own the Classic, which is nowadays not easy to purchase. But I own the ORG and AP.. both are great records and a no brainer purchase. The AP has a bit better pressing QRP. The ORG is a bit fresher, but the pressing is a bit noisier (RTI?).

    Munich HighEnd 2024

If you want to combine HighEnd- and touristic aspects, spend one day south of Munich. There are several nice lakes there with (far) view to the alps. Some years I travel one day earlier to relax after travel and visit Ammersee or Starnberger See. For Saturday you can split close to MOC. There...

    Munich HighEnd 2024

Instead paying 120+ EUR for an expensive hotel in town, I prefer to book a hotel in a village 40-50 kilometers north of Munich. Costs me around 50 EUR, booking early, and a half an hour trip by car, which is O.K. for me.

    Munich HighEnd 2024

I have to add two must-visits: True Life Audio/Gershman One of the hid den gems last year in the Atrium. TLA showed it's new Integrated and Gershman a midline speaker. Sounded fantastic with low HighEnd budget, if you found their room. Zellaton One of the top of the top speaker companies...

    Munich HighEnd 2024

Every year, Munich HighEnd comes by surprise. It is spring season, and by surprise it's only eight week to HighEnd, the world largest HighEnd fair. I visited this tour de force event first time ten years ago and it catched me. I have to return year for year, so exciting is this time, discovering...

After owning I was interested in knowing the water quality. First I measured my home top water. First I measured 68, which is not really to prevent chalky deposit in tube and machines. Sunday I measured 97. I wondered that water quality is so variant. After this experiment I tested three...

Then i copy you order. I remember at one page in this thread the injection of Tergitol look alike a cloud which has to be solved in DIW. First I planned to use a tray under each bath to protect the surface of table. But that's true, a leakage would need some more volume of water to contain.

Great to see you photos which makes it easier to follow. If distance with 28mm is enough, it will be my preference with cleaning 5 records in one batch. Makes it faster and more effective, as 1.200 wants to get cleaned a second time after the first Gläss cleaning. But I guess I will start with...

Thank you for your aid. I will go to order these parts. Probably two times to give both baths equal good filtering. I am not a DIY guy, but will try to assamble all to a nice pump/filter system like Tim has done.

Which Speakers for Dartzeel NHB-108B and NHB-18NS Combo?

IMO with your horn speaker, power is not the problem. It is your demand on sonical performance. Both options will drive the Avantgarde's with ease. If you are O.K. not to get the best performance (only "85%"), you are fine with the CTH 8550. Best you try to hear both to get a decision.

Dear Tim, great to hear from you as you give me all this worthy informations. I am aware you cleaning system is the most expensive system cleaning your records. But you wouldn't do if the results are not convincing. On my list will be both Elmasonic and the Kuzma RD motor. Unfortunately as...

Dear Neil, thank you for your reply. Let me shortly answer you: For me the Tim's system is the ideal solution so I will follow hin buying both Elmasonic US baths. The P 120H and the Easy 120H. Some months ago Louis Desjardins called me per video and told me proudly and excitedly, that his new turntable is in the final step to finish. I felt to keep silent, but not it is official: It will be shown at Munich HE together with Vivid Audio. The player is called PERPETUAL. Last call the...

    Ultrasonic Cavitation & Cleaning Explained

I feel the system of tima is a good idea with 5 records using the Elmasonic P 120 H. But here the volume is much bigger with 12,75 L to Degritter and KL Audio. Data Sheets says 300 W regular, max 1.320 W, power sufficient?
