Understood. Wesco does collaborations that are more lifestyle oriented (https://www.ironheartamerica.com/boots2/) but sizing is more restricted. I concur, Nick's does make a very nice work boot.
Thank you (and your cousin) very much for the update. While there are some who may consider 2015 on the Mosel and in Rheingau quite good, most will agree that neither have had a truly exceptional vintage since 2009.
Tang,
That David Lang record is exquisitely evocative and always seems to put me in a state of lyrical melancholy. A wistful and alluring recording.
Great performances by the eclectic grouping of Sheila Worden, Owen Pallett, Bryce Dessner, and Nico Muhly.
Thank you!

German wines are the perfect wines for the hot, summer months and pair extraordinarily well with Chinese and Thai food. Based on the current market scarcity, German Rieslings seem to be making huge strides in popularity despite the lack of recent "great" vintages. Still it's easy to understand...
That may be so but many great wines share attributes that result in a more easily classifiable "house sound". There are characteristics or signatures that can often be traceable (sometimes, even across continents). Winemakers like Manfred Krankl, Thomas Rivers Brown, Justin Strider Smith, Andy...

We've been using Onsen towels for a while now. Admittedly they're different; quite different actually. These are not your conventional heavy traditional towels, nor do they even feel remotely thick, plush, and/or luxurious. They're very utilitarian, made of first class materials, absorb water...
No, you are correct sir, the ideal natural position of the records in the drawer is with the records relaxed toward the rear. However, I think there is some scientific law (similar to that entropy thing) that states that all record storage will eventually tend toward exceeding full capacity :)...
I'm able to store approximately 37 180 gram MoFi, ORG, and/or Blue Note 45 RPM double LPs with the records stored outside of the LP jacket pockets in individual MA Recordings protective sleeves. The LPs are stored in 2mil clear protective jackets with flap. Each drawer has the wooden divider...
A picture is worth a thousand words...
Frame clearance is tight on both the upper and lower LP drawer compartments. Tabbed dividers are a non-starter with the drawers in the stock configuration.
Also note the protruding screwheads... I originally covered them with adhesive felt...
Atocha cabinets are extremely well made and are very heavy. I offer up two suggestions that you might consider inquiring about before you finalize your order. First, see if you can get Jenn to countersink the screws holding the drawer fascias and pulls in place. The drawer's fascia retention...
The epic 1992 vintage released in 1995 was $50/bottle... IIRC, prices held relatively steady ($75 in 1996 up to $150/btl) for around 6 years after that and then the price pressures caused by the ridiculous secondary market prices set in and that kicked off a race to the top between Harlan...
The Karuizawa Noh 23 pops off at 128 proof... a little splash of water really opens up the aromatics and exposes out a delicious swarm of secondary and tertiary flavors. Otherwise the heat neat just brings tears to my eyes.
Necroposting in case anyone cares anymore.

Thank you Bruce. Sadly, most of high/mid end audio shops that have managed to survive the regional downturn have shifted their focus primarily toward home theater where the demographic is a bit broader. There was a high end audio shop in Boca Park that managed to last a few years and the B&M...
