Advice on non-intrusive room treatment for a living room

I would highly recommend Franc Tchang Acoustic system resonators to be the most non intrusive, they are most effective, and very powerful,if you send him the enclosed layout you have shown, he will likely come back and advise where to place and purchase them. You could start with just three to...

    Scaena install

Hello LL21 Do you know of Arendal subwoofers ? I can highly recommend the 1723 range, the 2s are dual apposed, they do a 60 day trial and are priced really sharply. Very good for music and work superbly with antimode. Evenly spaced around your room maybe the way to go rather than stacked. You...

    Power cable newbie

I will say that having a morning listening session for a couple of hours and then breaking for lunch for an hour or so , (with the system left as is but not playing.) it does take 10 mins or so to get back to the same as before, even with digital. This is without using any ncf in there. IMHO.

Kuzma Airline Arm - Experience called upon.

Setup like any precision instrument takes experience, knowledge and skill, it all depends on ones self capabilities. I have tried quite a few MC in the Airline without issue ,it so happens I prefer the 50 odd year old MM Deccas I have now to anything I have tried, contrary to poular belief they...

Kuzma Airline Arm - Experience called upon.

Franc Kuzma was quick to respond to this, by including a silicon trough and a level line through the arm tube for easier levelling. I have kept trying the trough with different cartridges over the years but prefer in all cases not to be bothered using, taking care on its removal and storage.I...

Kuzma Airline Arm - Experience called upon.

TOTAL POPPYCOCK ! The only issue I have had was that the inline filters needed replacing as the original ones started leaking some 5 yrs ago, I have been using my airline for over 12 years with zero issues, a superb arm that has all the important parameters for precise adjustments. Now that...

QSA : My take on their expensive products

If you want to take my 2 cents worth ! I have been using these throughout my system for several years now, quite directional but easily heard, no need for me to try anything else as Iam quite happy with these throughout.

    Magnetic Resonance control

So whats wrong with trying what I suggest in trying above? You could do it with just one platform or a 40 mm offcut wooden kitchen worktop @ say 500 mm x 500 mm. If you like make another and then try your audio rack with ancillaries on top also !

    Magnetic Resonance control

The spikes allow me to slide in the airbladder to the desired position, it is then inflated so the spikes/platform is lifted a few millimeters above the lower platform, the TT platter is accurately leveled by the TT pillars/suspension which rotate for this. The inbuilt TT bubble level is then...

Yeh, you just dont want strong magnets anywhere near your beloved kit, sooo detrimental !! The will spike footers etc act like springs anyway. IMHO of course.

I would not bother with maglev stuff! I tried the heavy duty will spike ones some 12 yrs ago under my TT they were quite detrimental also tried the ones you have linked to, no good as well under various ancillaries. As I have had my TT for some 30 yrs, I find the airbladder as in the photo to be...
