    NAT Audio Magma New SE

Thanks Bill, I had not thought about Quintet and Magma and its a great idea. I have not seriously considered quintet due to the great distance between those drivers, It crosses somewhere around 400Hz giving plenty of info for echo location. What do you think ?

Sure thing Ron, and thanks for the good words. They are GR Research/ Danny Ritchie kits. he sells a 3 driver pack and the servo plate amp to power them for $1100 bucks. he has another guy that sells flat pack cabinets for like $900, but this is no small undertaking as its pieces of flat...

    NAT Audio Magma New SE

Leading edge is a fine line, too much energy yes, ugly. Though I find it to be necessary at a comfortable level because it mimics real life. I liken it to a cymbal at an amplified live music show. That Ride or HiHat cymbal penetrates the air right through everything straight to the ear. In the...

HMMM, is that so ? whatif I level it out with dual 15's on an open baffle. ? Ima little unconvinced with 2A3 45 101 etc as Ive got no experience other than seeing these rooms at the shows, and when I go in, its rarely music I can relate to for demo, and if something does not have bass relatively...

Best DACs comparison test result [[My Subjective Opinion]]

Unfortunately first hand listening to $20K plus DACs in house is not possible for most, so I provide a valuable resource and a way to compare the DACs with one another. This way if you have heard one of them, and I think I compared the 14 DACS I had at the time, so nearly every Audiophile has...

    My Clean Power Adventures

I also do something similar with the Verastarr AC Distro block Its a passive power strip with 3 x Furutech NCF R receptacles. I use mineral Goo as well, Quartz, Tourmaline and 4 others in a high performance compound. Its faraday shielded inside and has a ground lug on its chassis The wiring...

SOtM sNH-10G Network Switches x2 : The NEW KING of USB/Network Gadget Setup

Hi Guys, I have been having this discussion with a fellow audiophile and Im a skeptic by nature just to preface this.. So I believe this double SOTM thing works. What I'm wondering is this. What if any audible distinction is there between me using a ethernet to fiber converter, a 1 foot length...

Best DACs comparison test result [[My Subjective Opinion]]

Hi Guys , I did not kow you must announce if you sell something, my apology. First off I am not a dealer per se, I am a manufacturer. If I do in fact represent another brand from my own, it is because I am impressed by the brand and I feel they should have USA representation, and even when I...

What are the MOST DYNAMIC Tube Amplifiers and Integrateds out there?

Anything with 4 to 8 octal pentodes per chassis will slam pretty hard especially the 120/150 variants. Integrateds ? Jeff Rowland Daemon is the only integrated Ive heard that fooled me into thinking I was listening to a full Class A rig.. Instead it was a Class D Integrated.. lol. amazing..

Hey Stephen, I agree wholeheartedly when the Phison pieces were together they were neither laid back nor fatiguing. I really liked them and clearly could decipher the Signature. I found it unique and different than other systems Ive heard, and I applaud Sonny for creating a sonic of his own...

DAC Shootout: Phison PD2SE, Rockna Signature Wavedream, COS D1V2, Metrum Adagio

Yeah Steve, I was in that room and set up the Lambo Copper bad boys. Another bearer of truth they are.. It was my cabling throughout the rig. I'll read about your Ethernet, I hope it does not require Windows or MAC OS. I'm a linux supporter. I don't doubt ethernet sounds better. USB was...

DAC Shootout: Phison PD2SE, Rockna Signature Wavedream, COS D1V2, Metrum Adagio

Well this thread was certainly short and semi hijacked. My feeling and opinion is if a DAC has a crappy USB interface then shame on them, we will take your DAC at face value whether its even playing field or not. We like the manufacturers that put the best available in their product and shun...

    Nat Audio - giant killers?

I figured so much. My rig is in a room I added on so the HVAC is a little shy in that room. I'd probably have to add a mini HVAC rig. I'm wondering if the effort, sweating, expense, etc is worth it as compared to my current 100W PP 805DHT Generator monos .. Its going to be a burden to take...
