Sorry, I don't rate rockports on bass. I never heard it at the dealer. It was awful but at that time thought I would give you gentle feedback, but your constantly being on threads and endless posting on topics where you don't have exposure, only speculation is frustrating. The endless posts you...

Through those speakers of yours I doubt you will hear any difference if you had one. As far as I am concerned you lack total experience, here on this thread you are the only one trying to argue strongly with conviction trying to teach circuits to the CEO of BAT, arguing with Leif who has a...

Yes and if you use push pull amps, please try SS preamps like Soulution, Dart, CH, or Spectral

Is there a match between Magico Speakers ( particularly M6 ) and Tube Amps?.

Anyone interested in this should visit Rhapsody. At his place you can hear Magico with SETs, push pulls, and SS. I have heard with Kagura and Jadis 200 and Vitus there, and have also heard tubes and SS in other places. Imo SS is the best way for Magico. As to which SS, depends on your budget and...

    Modern speakers vs Vintage speakers

Recording direct to Tascam always sounds great, you are bypassing the speakers and room and mobile phone. It is not realistic representation of in room sound though

This is similar to Myles' right? That was an extremely musical tape set up. Imho that was more emotionally gripping for me than any Studer etc set up that I have been played. I am unable to say if it was a combo of Doshi, FM heads, or what, but what you say links that up nicely.

Lampizator announcement: launch of our all new TOTL HORIZON DAC

At Silvercore on his 833c amps we had compared expensive Telefunken dual gettr EL34 to cheap Chinese ones that he had voiced the amp with. The Telefunken were much more clear and transparent, but on his system, the way he had voiced it, they lacked meat, and both due to the midbass and...
