    The room is awful… the system is sitting on the wrong side of it. It’s boomy despite the ME1 not being bass heavy at all. I have recently put heavy curtains which help. I will improve the whole system isolation with several Symposium products.

    Anyone has experience or advice on Tiglon speaker cables with TAD? I have been confirmed by Tiglon the TAD cables are made by them. I have a limited budget and looking for the best match. I need 4 metres and would like to stay within $6000. Thanks a lot for your advice.

    Just to update the thread saying I went for the MSB Discrete and I’m happy with it in my chain. I’m sure there’s better out there, this is what satisfied me more amongst what I have listened.

    Not yet. I’m not convinced by the look as it seems to me a poor copy of the LP12. I will listen to it in the next days. I may end up with an SP10 mkiii and acoustic stand plinth.

    François from Anamighty is a friend. I’d like something good at least as my LP12 full specs. Not going to spend crazy (for me) money on a Dohmann and don’t fancy AMG. Thrax on paper seems a good option as was looking for users’ feedback

    I hear the BAT is excellent. And I often hear the Atma-Sphere best it even with its entry level MP3. Atma is not distributed here in Europe and wonder if that statement is actually true.

    Fuse upgrade for MBS DAC

    I’m about to receive my new MSB discrete dac and pretty excited about it. I have a spare SR purple fuse which I have in my previous dac. It’s a 2A and not a 2.5A as the one coming standard with MSB. Would it work as well? Is the SR purple a good match with the MSB discrete? Thanks for the advice.

    Sometimes depending on the tune the overall sound is quite aggressive. Not boomy, nor with treble too high peaks. I feel the need to smoothen up the overall sound presentation.
