Thats why to this day I hate Isiah. No matter how great a player, I hate him. His son however was different. Isiah couldn't stand that the sports only mentioned Bird, Magic, etc but never Isaiah. It seemed he was always jealous of them and Michael etc

When they walked off the floor and never shook hands with the winners was something I know Isiah admittedly regrets. Tarnished his legacy if there was one.

I remember this same well......

Pretty much removed him from legend status forever.

As a lifelong Lakers fan that sat at the Fourm through all eras, well until LBJ,the Lakers/Celtics/Pistons/Bulls era was epic basketbrawl!
Epic yes. But in the 70s , it would be called Little Defense Basketball. :D
I can only remember Dennis Johnson as a defensive player and maybe Marvin the human eraser Webster. The majority were all offensive guys. :)

Basketbrawl continued in the 90s when Pat Riley formed the so called CBA team of Mason , Starks and other non big stars to help Patrick Ewing, very very tough and physical plays. And there was that famous brawl too where coach Jeff VG was grabbing the leg of Alonzo Mourning in a Knicks Heat series. And of course, the biggest brawl of them all, the Ron Artest Pacers Pistons rumble at the Palace.

Celtics will be dealing with more mental or emotional issues than physical issues. How the team plays with yet another new coach, and how Jaylen Brown will handle the supposed trade offer to get KD. Physical issues include Robert Williams missing a few weeks for his knee treatment, and newly signed Danilo Gallinari out for the season with an ACL.

Celtics sign Blake Griffith to a 1 year deal. Mostly to fill in the void of injured bigs.

Forgot about this and now watching it years later, the problem here is Detroit on all levels, the players and the fans. When the douche nozzle decided to involve himself by throwing stuff on Artest he realized at that moment he made a big mistake. Fans should not cross the line to the court for any reason, that could have ended up deadly.

Robert Sarver and Ime Udoka are cases of clarity and confusion

I thought this was a good read

I think this season will be even better than last season.

Big question is whether the Warriors can repeat. Parity in the league is even better tis year than last year.
If feel that if the Warriors will be dethroned, a Western team has to do it. The East is still in disarray. Udoka scandal, Ben Simmons, Harden, KD are all in the East. :D

Could this be the Suns year. They completely imploded in the finals after a great season

Some distractions too with the Suns last season, plus now they have a controversial owner who is selling the team. I heard Shaq is in the mix. But I think it would be the Clippers' year, finally, to get in the Western Finals. Their lineup is more solid that ever, well, barring any injuries to their stars.

Denver has always disappointed me. From the time of Carmelo. Starting strong then ending weak.

Lots of ifs, maybe, best case scenarios for above.
And brings way more questions.

With Denver, what if Murray and Porter Jnr do come back in line forcefully?
And if KCP/Brown/Ish Smith are impactful bench players in this system.

Honestly, I cannot see Jokic as a championship player, from what his past performances were. I don't even see why he's a multiple MVP, on the court. He seems soft and doesn't possess the killer instinct when the game is on the line. In fact, I've seen him many times way out on top of the foul line with very little time, and no, he won't hit the 3 in such situations, in the playoffs. Regular season, most likely, yes. :D
