First heard this artist in Esoteric's room CES 2007 and was compelled to get the CD. Every sound you hear is coming from her and she has quite an imagination. This track is also her most tame.

Beautiful tune and sound. May I ask what album this is?
It is on her album called “Temptations”. She does all covers on this one.

I came across this Devore Orangutan Video with Shindo. Normally Imo Shindo is quite colored yet this video sounds good and was the only Devore video on YT I liked. I checked with the guy and it is mobile phone recording. Some did have doubts how small speakers can sound big, this clarifies that.

My recommendation for Orangutans is 10 - 12 watts like NAF 2a3, Airtight 300b. The Polish Mycube EL84 push pull should sound great as well. I never heard in person with the Shindo but O96-Shindo was Art Dudley's reference

Maria Mena, came accross this song on another forum, best of hers I think, produced 12 years ago, love the simplicity of bass string and vocal on the entry.

Maril 555’s Altec 817, still work in progress, with now Misho’s 4k euro phono added, Mayer 10y copper preamp (still valves to be rolled to RCA), and Mayer lower model non DHT 6cb5a power amp.

kiseki cartridge, usually much lower resolution than Neumann or vdh

roll to TM801A instead. MUCH better

Hi Thomas,

What does the TM801a bring to the 10y preamp “party” in terms of sonics would you say?

What is list price on a pair of TM801a?

Best.
