And a thought entered my mind about the shooting of guys like Ben Simmons. With so many assistant coaches in teams lately, why hasn't been there a 'shooting coach' ? I mean in baseball there is a batting and pitching coach. Ray Allen should be much sought after as a shooting coach, or Reggie Miller.

This is one guy Ben Simmons or the Sixers should seek out. Also a leftie, also 6'9". 2 time NBA champions with the Celtics Dave Cowens. At age 67, making all those long shots and trick shots to boot like he was just 5 feet away from the ring.

Yahoo Sports seems know I'm a Celtics fan and notify me with such stories. I am first and foremost a Celtics fan from the time of Bill Russell and Sam Jones to Havlicek and Cowens to Bird and McHale to KG and Paul Pierce. I normally do not subscribe to the media's GOAT debate because it only includes the 90s media and onwards and they mostly just erased the 'greats' of the previous era simply because they were either not born at that time or were just toddlers then.

I'd be shocked. I remember they did the same to Kobe as well in his final years wen they got Steve Nash and Dwight Howard. Lakers were the odds on favorites to win. Nash had a bad back which got worse during the season. He saw limited minutes and the Lakers crashed and burned

I heard that they are enlarging the Lakers physical therapy room as they need to widen the doorways to allow room for all of the wheel chairs to pass

Woj is saying Rondo has been bought out by the Grizzlies and will most likely sign with the Lakers. So, another veteran oldie. Maybe he is the missing link.

Playoff Rondo didn't show up for the Clippers this year, hence the trade to Memphis.

Perhaps he'll do better for the Lakers....he's the right age for the LAL Shuffleboard Club.
