I definitely have multiple versions of the same album.

You could try changing the album title name to XXX - DSD and rescan to see if it shows up.
I tried that and both appeared in Roon in the date added field with the new title. I rescaned in TAS and no joy. The two albums are Ellington's Back to Back and Brahms Violin Concerto with Oistrakh. The Brahms is a FLAC download from HDTT and Back to Back is streamed from Qobuz. I downloaded both in DSD 128 from HDTT and neither will transfer to TAS.

Sorry if these questions are obvious…

Did you check “new music” in TAS?

Are there any weird characters in the album name or elsewhere?

Yep and neither are there. No weird characters. Both are in TAS in FLAC.

My next step would be to delete the flac version, rescan, add the DSD version and rescan.

Hi, I just thought I'd chip in as an outside observer...but hugely curious observer...on all things Extreme.
I was due to visit Barry in a month to take in a fourth visit to hear the Extreme in his system, but after having attended 10 live concerts in last 5 days, string quartets and solo piano recitals, the chance to visit came up today w these concerts strongly familiar.
I have to say I was hugely impressed w what I heard today. Barry has tinkered a little w his system including some additional GIKs. And critically all his King Sablons back in (last time I visited he had non descript power cords).
So now for first time I'm auditioning the Extreme w TAS, USB driver and fully optimised setup.
My overall conclusion is that the Extreme is doing something pretty phenomenal. Its ticking so many boxes of those I heard in concert including those that I don't hear digital excel at. Tonal variation, mids density and heft, instrumental texture, and ability to run multiple lines w minimal congealing. Hell, it's not just making a brilliant fist of reminding me of live, but also taking the fight to vinyl in those areas where LP excels.
Classical was a real revelation, the first time I've been able to totally immerse into this genre when not on vinyl.
We listened to Saint Saens, Handel, Navarro Quartet and Stravinsky.
The standout jazz track we listened to, Pino Palladino and Blake Mills, totally excelled at polyrhythmic organisation and supreme bass control.
Critically, having grown to accept and then prefer a slightly recessed soundstage after exemplary reproduction of this w Bill's horns, Barry's stage was much less in my chest as previously, and more invited me in, and like Bill's presentation, not a diminution of dynamics but just a more natural placement.
So I've now been extremely lucky to experience two amazing presentations recently. First Bill's other worldly horns, by far my fave spkr of all time. And now Barry's Extreme, seriously getting me to re calibrate the multi decades' long pre eminence of vinyl over digital.

Probably some Unicode characters within the titles that are not visible. It happened to me with some HDTT albums.
I can’t remember how to look for them and delete them but sure The team will be able to help.

Glad you enjoyed it today Marc. Still not up with Bill’s horns quality but the system doesn’t sound too shabby at the moment.

Deleted the DSD Brahms and both the FLAC and DSD disappeared from Roon and the FLAC is gone from TAS. Downloaded the TAS DSD and it appeared immediately in Roon so I rescanned in TAS but no luck. Now there is no Brahms in TAS.

Hey Barry, don't under sell your sound, it's in a very good place.

I'm beginning to think something like that might be the case. I've yet to be able to transfer a HDTT DSD file to TAS. No problem with FLAC.

I downloaded the Brahms DSD from HDTT, rescanned it and it made it to TAS. I then downloaded the FLAC version from HDTT, rescanned it and it showed up as additional tracks on the DSD version. All that's a first. Does make it easy to compare resolutions though.

The scanner engine used by the TAS Beta was not written by us.

The all new coded from scratch backend, has a scanner coded by Wilson, I can absolutely guarantee you no matter what kind of funny characters there may be in the folder name, the new scanner will recognize them and make appropriate database entries. Should something not go in the database properly, we will be able to fix it. That's the payoff from re-inventing the wheel

As a huge fan of PGGB, I applaud these efforts and would be grateful for both real-time and offline PGGB integration with TAS and XDMS.
Myself as well!

About a week ago something strange started happening. When I would add an album to a queue it positions them randomly throughout the other songs already there. Previously, it would add the whole album at the end of the queue. I’m not sure if I tapped a button that affected this change or maybe I have a “ghost in the machine.” Has any one else ever experience this in TAS?

Sounds as if you got the "random" mode turned on, perhaps? It's very hard to see, but when selected, the icon is slightly blue rather than gray (on the Queue screen, it's the 2nd from the left in the image below).

Well, I gave it a shot but no luck. It appears TAS is thinking I need to spice up my song sequence...
