Hello
some adio projects become legends, and I think in my opinion of course , Dynaudio Heritage Special can be one of those cases.

for quit a long time that I don’t feel so positively attracted for a speaker

please if you get the opportunity listen to them

I am auditioning them now, they're incredibly good. My special 40s are now trade bait. This speaker is easily the best monitor I have had the pleasure to listen to. You'd have to spend alot more to get anything better, Wilson Benesch comes to mind. Magico A1s nope, not as smooth and fluid or balanced.

This is a special speaker for sure.

I still use my Special 25’s. I imagine these new monitors must be great. Not a bad word spoken about them.

never got a listen on the special 25s, I've heard great things..And the birds eye look really great...The Heritage is definitely going to rank as one of their best speakers for sure.

I don't see too much about this speaker. I have had mine for maybe the last 6 months. They are indeed special. I strongly considered some B&W 805s. I didn't think I could make a bad decision, but chose the HS. I thought the B&W was more technically proficient, but the HS was special. After spending a lot of time with friends 705 signatures... We both agree, the HS is incredibly engaging. Just forget about comparisons and 3 hours goes by listening to music. I feed them with a LTA Z40+ integrated. My own secret sause for tubes.

I will say it's true... They are not bass shy, but bass is not their strong suit. Not like B&W which can be pretty impressive. Regardless, I use a sub anyway for 2.1 so doesn't matter to me. Everytime I sit down I'm still amazed and definitely entertained. And personally, I really love how good they look. Not too blingy like an 805.

So I'll wrap this up... Best thing that happened to my DHSs was a Lampizator. I talked enough about that... But I'm equally impressed that they can play everything sent to them. I can go on and on about the Lampi, but it has to play out my speakers. The texture, the body, imaging, nuances... I'm in heaven. I thought my gear was holding back my Utopia headphones (it was) which got me a LTA Z40 integrated. That was so good my office setup was holding it back which got me the DHS... Which made me get a DAC that was on par.

I am not the most experienced. I'm just a amuck that liked going to stereo shops. I know enough now to know just cause they have good gear doesn't mean they have good rooms. I am not remotely pretending my gear is the best... But I have heard a lot of expensive gear that sounded nothing like what I have in my modest setup. After my last tweaks I think I have placement dialed in and imaging alone is nuts.

My tube selection has nothing to do with warm syrup. The lampi has more bass in quality and quantity. I take back what I said... The HS are not bass shy. So articulate... But mids and treble... Magic. It's not that they are technical powerhouses, they are just so refined and incredibly engaging. I sold my Utopias. Then I got so Clear OGs. Perfectly competent and capable. They are kinda ruined now. They can't keep up. I may look at another streamer later. I have a hard time believing it will be an improvement on par with the rest, but I might.
