One distinction of the SHD to other uber cables, it does not paint back ground dark like so many of them. The tone is never sweet. Its character is actually quite comparable to the Atlas SL. The SHD is good but way too expensive. And those boxes are annoying. Another good feature is, MiT has a burning-in service that pre cook the wires for you.

Hello Tango,
I have been using MIT cables for a years. I have tested a lot of other cables like Transparent, Virtual Dynamics, Nordost, 47 Labs, Kimber, Harmonix and many many others.
My current system is:
Source: Antipodes CX-EX-P2, digital cables: RAL and Black Cat Tron, MIT Oracle Ma
Dacs: Spectral SDR-2000 and Sonic Frontiers SFD2 mk2
Preamp: Linn Klimax Kontrol 2
Amp: Spectral DMA-250
Cabbles: Interconnects MIT Oracle MAX SHD
Speaker cable: MIT Oracle MAX SHD
Speakers: Sonus Faber Electra Amator 2
Sub: Cabasse Santorin 30-500

I haven't big room right now, so can't move into big speakers, some later i am going to move into really big and musical room.
Despite the fact that my wires are much more expensive than speakers :) I am really happy with such system.
Sonus Faber in my room with Cabasse sub shows incredible results and most importantly, the system is really musical and melodic.

I used to have everything connected with SHD and Articulation series. My system approach has changed over time now moving to the basic. You already have all your gears connected with top MiT. Just curious why looking for the review.

This review for my friend, he is still using Nordost Valhalla 2, he want to move into odin, because the current valhalla2 has bright tonal balance, i am also have had such experience in the past with vallhala 1, but looks like valhalla 2 has same problem :)
We live in a different countries so i can't listen his system coz coronavirus and so on. I just guide him that MIT is really great, it has normal tonal balance with depths and details at same time.

I have been listening such Sonus Faber many times in other system, also i know Extrema, Guarneri Homeage and few other models. The main problem that such speakers looks like slow, a bit dark, a lot of honey sound )
Even lethargic, they lacked a spark. But in
my system i have totally different sound picture.

As someone who has been through the Spectral MIT heirarchy for quite some time, here's a question for your consideration. The Harley review was written in 2013. One would think that a 50K uber speaker cable reviewed so superbly would be a long term acquisition in any system. So, does Harley still use them? If not, why not?

if you read the latest RH review of the Wilson 300k speaker these are not listed in his equipment list that he is using Marty

Harley did review and was using ACC 268 + Plus the MA-X SHD interconnects.

http://www.theabsolutesound.com/art...n-control-console-and-ma-x-shd-interconnects/

Newer reviews as @Elliot G. mentioned have his system signature with Shunyata Research products Sigma series (Speaker +interconnect) rather than MIT.

Now, who knows if these are review samples he has on loan or does he actually own them?

I have listened Shunyata sigma analog balanced xlr interconnects. It’s not compatible with Mit max shd interconnects )
despite the fact he seemed tonally well balanced, he specifically lacks Meath's directness of MIT
I am not sure that guys from AS are able to be objective in the matter. Some marketing poorposes, as you know!

You're doing your system a disservice. Isolating the networks provides audible improvements. Here, not only are the networks not isolated, but they are being placing on something that is vibrating heavily.

Hello Bar81,
Thank you for your attention. First of all i am using q-fet vibrapodes, also the sub has’t any vibration of body. When i listening music on my comfort level this is not a problem. And i can’t find any better way where to put Mit’ box ))

I figured with the short tails and the 2 way speakers being on a stand that you didn't have much choice on placement of the networks :)

As long as you're addressing vibration, that's what important. I was really surprised at the improvement the first time I put Acoustic revive TB-38H platforms under the networks - it was clear and immediate improvement.
