Hello all,

Here is my set up in a very small room (14 sqm). Sometime this year will be building a new 5m x 7m x 2,75m. Is designed and waiting time and courage to start!

My system has Tidal Piano Cera speakers driven by Audiopax Model 88SE SET Monos and Model 5SE pre. The source is PD MPD-3 DAC and PC with JRiver.

Cables are KS Emotion/ Elation and LessLoss for power and Synergistic Research Tesla Apex for IC and Speaker.

Cheers,

João Vieira

Very nice and welcome. Tidal speakers have been acquitting themselves well at recent shows :)

Thank you NothStar, Odyno and Lyles.
I love Tidal. What I need is more room for them, acoustics is been an issue in my small room.

Hello Joao,

your room looks nice, i especially dig the diffusors. I always like looking at Tidal speakers (and amps) but i haven't had a chance to audition any of them yet. I had never heard of Audiopax before but i just searched the web and they make quite an interesting read. I'm sure they sound fabulous too. And as for Playback Designs, what can i say about PD that hasn't already been said about Kate Beckinsale, simply gorgeous :)

Congrats on your beautiful System, i'm looking forward to seeing it in your new room.

Hi João!

Nice room :)
If you think you have problems in 14 sq., wait until you get that 5x7 done! The larger the room, the more trouble you'll have making it sing, I tell ya...
The good thing about bigger rooms is that you'll be able to play with bigger speakers as well :) It'll open up your choices nicely...

Nice system Joao.
Are the Contriva speakers matched better in your room than the Piano?
What improvements have you experienced?

Vienna, I had the Piano when I had a much smaller room (14m2) in my old house. The Contriva would be too much for it.

Now I have more space, and the comparison is not fair. Contriva G2 is in a different level compared to the Piano.
