What a game

Curry vs Curry

Warriors found a way to hang around and made shots at the end

Warriors 114–111 Blazers

Going back to Portland up 2-0
How can you hate this team without KD and Cousins they overcome a 17 point deficit and find a way to win.

Indeed what a game, Steve. And a great game for both teams. Games like these are enjoyable and whoever wins deserve it. Well played and not antics or trash talk, pure basketball. Warriors show why they are multiple champions, and even without KD, were able to effectively pierce the paint for those much needed points by Looney and Green when they were down. CJ took one shot too many when he was not the hot man, and how bout Iggy doing the SAME ball swat on Damian as he did to LeBron many years ago. 4 superstars, and KD is recovering.

Mommy Curry cheering for Seth. Daddy Curry said she has been so stressed in these two games. And it's so amazing to see THREE Currys who are all sharp shooters. Wow

Wasn't able to watch the game tonight. Looks like it was a good one.

Warriors up now 2 - 0. Perhaps home cooking will help Portland get back in the series

Me either, grandsons final baseball game of his season, they won. Watching highlights now, good stuff. C vs C that was epic, the parents reactions were priceless.

I've always maintained that the calf injury suffered by KD is more serious than they are letting on

My bet is KD is gone for the remainder of the playoffs

Durant (strained calf) out, won't travel to Portland
Warriors star will miss Games 3 and 4 of the Western Conference finals

Iggy never ceases to amaze me with his skills at his age

Last night when he stole the ball on the final inbounds possession by the Blazers and cemented the win was just terrific defense

Like I said a few pages ago Stevie, IMO Iggy is key. If people said the reason the Rockets lost was CP3 being out, the reason the Cavs rallied was in large part due to Iggy's back being out. They managed his minutes VERY carefully in the regular season. Livingston's too. That is paying dividends now. I still think the blazers can win at least two games, at least I hope so. The Bucks being what they are, my gut says, no Durant, no championship. If it's the Raptors, I think the dubs can pull it off without KD.

You’re reading my mind and that’s why I posted that I’m betting KD is done for the season. Without KD the road to the championship through “ home team” Milwaukee becomes difficult.

BTW if Raptors beat Bucks the Raptors will have home court advantage over the Warriors.

How does that process go? Do they "inherit" the seeding or did the Raptors just have a better record?

If KD's injury is worse than originally and he can't play at all for the rest of the playoffs...it could have a negative impact on his free agency. Suddenly there could be some risk involved signing him to a long term deal.

I don't know but every time, through the years, that I root for the Raptors, they lose. So I should now 'pretend' to root for the Bucks. I can never root for a team that eliminated the Celtics, way back to the Sixers of the 80s. :D

Fertitta backs D'Antoni as coach, vows to keep reaching for Finals
Rockets owner says 'we’re not here to be just OK'

Good luck to the Rockets. . Dantoni will drive Harden into the ground before they win a championship.

I believe they lost the last game due to poor coaching. No timeouts when they needed a clutch basket down by 2 or 3. They let Harden rip like an anchor. They should have set plays like GS moving the ball inside to Looney or Green, either alley oop of short stabs. The trend now is to 'kill' the opponent with 3 balls, whether up or down. And the latest trend, is to take the 3 ball and induce body contact then falling to the floor. These makes old school basketball so much like hard labor, as players now go for the easy undefended 3s and if defended, go for 4. So how bout a 4 point line at midcourt. :D
