Yes...old beaver pond but no fishing. Great Blue Heron’s decimate any fish stocking attempts. There is a small heron rookery on another beaver pond that is out of view.
David,
I’m curious to know if you use particular references of Ching cheng cables for amps and sources.
Please can you elaborate a bit ? Or if you prefer answer via PM.
Thanks

Too bad about no fish, but the Blue Herron is an impressive bird. We have them here, too. They come gliding in twenty-feet off the ground - it's quite the sight. Cheers!
They are difficult to find here in EU. The only ones I can find are on Ebay and they are only 18 awg, not 14. I don’t know if it’s important sq speaking.

And so it begins...the BiG Move !. Saturday a friend is helping with the 350lb bass cabinets. Once they are at the new place, it will be a breeze for me (solo) bit by bit to move the rest. AS2000 will be last to go as I will need help with that. AF1 will be set up first when the basic system is in place in the next few weeks. Exciting as I haven't heard the stereo on a regular basis since Sept. Peter's visit has been the only listen up to this day. I'm missing well reproduced music.
Christian, the very best of luck w your move. I know how stressed you might be feeling. I had to get 350lb of speakers 20' up tight spiral stairs to my loft, not to mention 2k albums, 1k laserdiscs etc etc. Never again. The only thing that in future gets boxed up and moved out of here is my dead body.
But if you get or exceed the benefit I got going to a new room, your aching pecs and back will just melt away.
And so it begins. Congratulations Christian. Moving those four Pass amp chassis must not have been easy either. If David gets you to move to horns and Lamm, you know whom to contact about those XS amps.
Congrats. Always an exciting time. A lot of work, but exciting. I'm very much looking forward to seeing your stereo in the new place, and your thoughts on the journey once you're there.

Best wishes for your move. As long as we do not have stairs, Alexandria's are a fast move - moving in and out X2 and XLF's never took more than two hours!
