Interesting indeed. It kinda reminds me of my son's NBA 2k video game, with circles and names but this is more 'analytical'. For me it would take some getting used to. The mascot mode is cute.
Melo's days are numbered, perhaps as an NBA player. I wonder how he suddenly cannot make baskets.

You have to wonder what is up with the Rockets. They went from juggernaut to pedestrian from one year to the next.
Chris Paul and Melo are good friends and I am certain CP3 was instrumental in Melo going to the Rockets. Perhaps the other Rockets players aren't happy about Anthony being on the team,
The stories of interpesonal dysfunction on the Clippers during Paul's tenure are well known now. Makes me wonder if somehow he has contributed to the poor performance of the Rockets this year. He is a grinder.

And just like that, the Rockets are up 22 over the Pacers at the half. Just by putting Melo on the DNP or Will not Play list sort of boosted the Rockets (no pun intended).
KD is being 'recruited' again. Gets a tour of the Warriors new home next season, and even got to step on the 'court'.

Celtics with another come from behind loss. Trailing almost by 20 at half time and clawing back into the game late. Still a clear lack of offensive sock I wonder if Danny will get some Euro snipers which Portland has. Celtics now close to .500
Lakets have a 3 game win streak going and as always they give up a big lead only to have the game come down once again to the final 2 free throws by LeBron which would have sealed the win. Of course as always he misses both free throws but comes back on the next play to take a rebound from Kuzma to dunk the ball for the win.

It was a good game with the Clippers leading almost the entire game until the last couple minutes....then the Warriors tied it up. Have to admit I wasn't confident going into OT but the Clippers pulled it out in the end.
Curry didn't play so that helped as the Warriors only had three All Star players on the court.

Good to see the Clippers win. I was already knowing some of the unknown Clippers then I say a Shai Gilgeous in the scoreboard dropping 18 points. Good find. Maybe another of those Jerry West 'discoveries'.
Win or lose the Clippers play hard so they are fun to watch. Refreshing to watch as they have no massive egos on the team (that I know of).
Shai has been incredible to this point in his rookie year. I think Jerry West did find a special player when they drafted him. He reminds me of a more developed Shaun Livingston, a Clippers 1st rounder in 2004. Doc doesn't like to play rookies but he has Shai in the game, even in crunch time. Can't wait to see Shai after he adds some muscle to his frame.

Casey gets revenge over his former team Toronto. A squeaker on a last second shot. Celtics finally won after losing 4 games.
Celtics thumped the Bulls pretty good.
Nice to see Casey get that win. He always seemed like a good guy and a good coach to me.
Toronto lost a close one to Detroit the other night as home, and will visit the Celtics on Friday. Another tough one to grind but if the C's play the way they did last night, with lots of offensive power and crispy passing, they could beat the Raptors. I notice Hayward may be a bit overweight and slow. He is still a far cry from his last season in Utah but fans gotta be patient, after all, that was a gruesome injury and we're happy just to see him play. And he is still adjusting to Celtics ball as he is technically a freshman in the green uniform.
