On the continuum of Cool - Neutral - Warm, I'm on the warm side and looking for any suggestions for a good HDMI cable on the warm side tonally, if such exists. It's for a run from an Oppomod HDMI to I2S card in an Oppo 203 to a Directstream dac. I'm currently using a PS Audio I2S-12 cable, the silver one, which is very good, but would like to go a bit warmer than look at swapping fuses in my ATC SCM19A actives.

Note: I'd appreciate if those that don't believe there's an SQ difference between HDMI cables please pass on. Thanks,

Hey there! You might have some success with the PAD HDMI cable. It was specifically made for audio only applications. I had used one with my Stahl~Tek combo for quite some time and it suited my system quite nicely.throughout the years I had. Good luck!

Thanks. Since I’d auditioned PAD’s Acqueous coax for its warmth and had been considering the reportedly warm and lush Neptune, the best coax in their line, I asked the developer (Jim Aud?) the same question as here about the HDMI. His reply was “neutral.” The Cable Co. doesn’t audition HDMI cables and I’ve never had good luck for my tastes with neutral, whether in a concert hall or home system, so I have to take it at face value.
