    Both the A1.5 and the M1.1s are amazing amps; I'll avoid absolutes like this one is better than that one. Don't think I used the word soft, or other words that imply better or worse, but in my system the M1.1 are darker sounding in the midrange (compared to the A1.5s) but have more headroom...

    Interesting. Maybe a dumb question, but could one just go back and utilize an older version of Roon with the Extreme? A version that worked just fine and had "the magic" that existed for 200 pages of this forum :)?
