I bought this unit used from another forum member. I believe it's around 5 years old.
The noise has been present since the first day I received the unit. I've pretty much always been able to hear some hum between tracks, and when nothing is playing. Recently, I've been testing out a new SUT...
Yeah, I've tried it in a few different outlets in my room. Still haven't been able to get the issue to change. Any other obvious troubleshooting/diagnostic things I might be overlooking? Not really sure what to do at this point.
I've wondered if it might be a ground loop, though I can't seem to affect it. I've tried grounding the LP 2.1 directly to the preamp and then have also tried grounding it to my Shunyata Denali, but neither has made any difference. I also tried throwing a cheater plug on the LP 2.1 power cord...
I'm going to dig some out this weekend, I believe I have a backup set. The fact that it's coming from both channels & there isn't really any tube noise coming from the tweeter made me think it's less likely a tube issue. Though I should definitely rule that out.
Have any other LP 2.1 owners dealt with noise issues? I've got some hum/noise that is loud enough to be heard over very quiet parts of music from the listening chair. This isn't my recording, but it pretty much sounds like this:

Nice! You're in for a treat. I think still need to spend a little time to doing some final setup tweaking to really maximize the performance. That being said, it's been a revelation compared to the Lyra Delos it replaced.
Thanks to everyone for the input and advice.
I actually ended up purchasing a lightly used STST Motus II from a fellow forum member. Solypsa was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable post-purchase to get everything optimized and singing. I've currently got an Aidas Mammoth Gold MkII mounted, and...
Thanks for that input! I’m not very familiar with this table, but now I’m going to do a little research.
I read about how good the Garrard 301/401 or Thorens 124 can sound, but have also been curious how they compare to more modern decks in this price range - so thank you for that comparison.
@Solypsa
Unfortunately I've come to this same conclusion with the Rega arm, it's certainly not allowing me to get the optimal performance from the Lyra cart. Wish I would have known it would have been an issue before the dealer sold me on the cart. It still sounds a lot better than the Rega...
