    Esoteric to Bricasti?

Would like to hear your impressions of using the M21 direct (when not using vinyl) and then adding in the M20. This is something I'll have to try myself someday although with my M12. Enjoy ;)

    Esoteric to Bricasti?

Couldn't agree more! I'm less than 30 minutes away. Got to actually watch them drill out a 2nd port on the back of my M12 so I now have dual ports, a LAN & IS2 connections. Wish you luck with your new gear.

    Esoteric to Bricasti?

Hi @Macattack just curious why you are selling your M32's? A short while ago I brought in a new pair of M28's to compare to my M25 and even after 30 days of use going back to my M25 I preferred the M25. Had 2 other guys over and we went back and forth and the M25, in my system and to my ears...

    My Little Barn

Thanks @dcc . Can you tell me what differences you heard? Did you try it with a MSL cartridge?

Anyone use the MSL SH-1rh headshell on the CS Port AFU1 tonearm? Thoughts?

    Furutech project V1

The PSD is closer to the Furutech Pure Power 6 NCF Super Barrier Power Distributor that retails at $9800. The only thing I don't like about the PP6 is its ergonomics with the connections off each of the 3 sides instead of the top. As for the PSD units I've now owned 3 units and currently have...

    My Little Barn

Thanks @dcc . Are you suggesting the cable from the RCA'S to headshell? Or RCA'S from back of arm to SUT or phono-pre? I'll be 1st trying a new Signature Silver Series by Audiomica for that connection. What headshells would you recommend?

    My Little Barn

@dcc I've ordered the CS Port AFU1 linear tracker and hope it will be shipping in a few weeks. I ordered it with just the too plate to mount on my TAT1M2 but will have to remove my Safir arm. Easy process just to remove 2 screws on the mounting plate. Any suggestions when setting up the AFU1...

    Kuzma SAFIR 9

It was fine just a bit "polite" sounding. I wanted a bit more energy and life, the Sussuro has that but it does lack the inner detail and transparency that the MSL has. As I had stated above, to me the MSL Gold Sig was a better match for my taste.

    Kuzma SAFIR 9

Currently I'm running the new SoundSmith Sussurro Gold Limited Edition and it's a winner on the Safir. It does not have the inner detail that my MSL Platinum brings out but it gives more energy and slightly better low frequencies. I bought the new SM Hyperion-MR MKII but it's still sealed, think...

Will also agree that whatever is mounted on a Safir arm it will tell the truth, whether you like it or not is all another story. Each one of us has a unique perception of what sounds more natural or correct, none of it is wrong.

    Kuzma SAFIR 9

@ationg I owned both the MSL Gold & Platinum and sold the Gold to buy a Platinum. I much prefered the Gold....again on the Safir. I'm not saying the Gold is a better cartridge but for my tatste and both cartridges were used on the Safir arm, I'd go for the Gold.

    Kuzma SAFIR 9

@ationg you "might" be right. I prefer my SoundSmith Sussurro Gold LE over my MSL Platinum Sig. Seems the MSL is just a bit too detailed, it's also a more "polite" sounding cartridge so I prefer the excitement of the SM. I thought the MSL Gold Signature was the better sounding cartridge on my...

    Esoteric to Bricasti?

The music now gains in the inner detail, and it sounds spotlessly clean with lots of space making the stage wide and deep combined with a beautiful powerful and layered soundstage. Yes, this with an Audiomica Andra Reference Ethernet cable in place of the suppled IS2 cable. From my understanding...

    Esoteric to Bricasti?

Don't know yet, looooong day, it took me extra time to get to the factory and back b/c of a snow storm then just in from 4th time out shoveling. Will keep you posted once I can relax and have a listen.
