FS: VPI Classic 1 Walnut Base Package, Benz Micro Glider SM Cartridge

Thanks Rich. I saw that about his new showroom. I planned on checking out OMA before I ultimately make the final purchase. Which will not be for some time :( I really like his products and his philosophy. Thanks, Joe

FS: VPI Classic 1 Walnut Base Package, Benz Micro Glider SM Cartridge

You are right 2 inches is way to big, the chip is just about one inch. I posted the link to the audiogon listing which has pictures of the table and of the chip. The hrx center weight accidentally slipped out of my hand and hit the side of the table. Thank you, Joe

FS: VPI Classic 1 Walnut Base Package, Benz Micro Glider SM Cartridge

Hi Rich, Nice to hear from you. I have been following your threads and I hope you get your tape machine soon. I sold off my 2 channel system, which consisted of a McIntosh MA2275 and ARC PH5. I will eventually go with an all Shindo system and ideally I will get the Shindo 301 Player System...

I am selling my VPI Classic 1 Turntable Walnut Base with Benz Micro Glider SM, Periphery Ring Clamp, and HRX Center Weight. I would prefer local sale, however I will ship. I live in Bayport, New York. VPI Classic is the first production run, Walnut Base. Table is in good condition; however...

    The Upgrade Company

I have no experience with Upgraded products and my knowledge is not 10% of many of the members on this forum. My simple question is if you think the unit needs to be upgraded why not just upgrade to a better model or manufacturer? Joe

    Bi-wires or Shotgun with Jumpers

That is a very good point I should clarify that I have spoken several times to Nordost about this subject and Nordost is suggesting using a single run and the jumpers. I have not inquired about whether blue heavens or red dawns would sound better than one single run of the Baldur's. My...

    Bi-wires or Shotgun with Jumpers

Hi Rich, I am currently using Baldur for my 2 channel set up and Blue Heavens for home theater. I will be really interested to hear your thoughts. Nordost is adamant that it will sound better with the jumpers. Have you read the pdf Nordost has on their website about the subject? Joe

    Bi-wires or Shotgun with Jumpers

Hello, I currently have B&W CM9's and the CMC2 center channel. I am currently running nordost bi-wire cables. My dealer and Nordost both recommended re terminating the bi-wires to shotgun and use the Nordost Bi-wire Jumpers. They believe it will improve the detail and imaging. Has any one...

Who's not happy with their picture quality and what have you done about it?

I recommend checking tweak tv out.. Here is the description from the istv website, wich is run by Kevin Miller who is ISF certified. He is great guy and calibrated my pioneer elite. "TWEAKTV is ISFTV's latest venture. If you are looking for an easy way to make an immediate improvement on...

    Periphery Outer Ring Clamps

I have the VPI Classic Table with the HRX Center Weight, my next upgrade is the periphery ring clamp. I was wondering if I should consider the TTWeights outer rings. I know better records.com recommends TTWeights, they said they like the sound better. Joe

    Who Still Uses A Preamp

I use my Arcam AVR 600 receiver but only out of necessity, I really don't have enough room to do separates properly. I am really itching to go with a line stage and a tube amp from either ARC or McIntosh for my 2 channel vinyl. Joe
