You are correct on the software, especially after any power glitch, but at least it reboots every time! I've also had switches lock up before on both the CD and Preamp.

I used to have them under my M5's and thought they made a big improvement. One they raised the speaker a bit which was good for my room, my ear height etc.... and they also allowed me to stabilize the speaker as I was part on a rug and part off. Do not have the M5's any longer and the M Projects...
I'm an idiot, I let my dealer send me a pair of these MIT monsters to try in my system. Cables should not make that kind of difference... More space between the instruments, better quality and more bass, crisp, taught, great undertones, etc..., just a lot more natural top to bottom. Not sure it...
I have the DMA-400's and the room is ~14' x 17' with 12' ceilings. Room has some unique features like built in record cubbies on one wall. various ASC treatments and quiet rock drywall. Not a SOTA room by any means but it works for me. Never planned on going this "high end" when I built it...
I think Spectral has plenty of requests for the new phono stage as well as a DAC. I have a standing order in for years on both. Was told this summer to get the new pre amp and phono hopefully by year end.
