    My favourite pre amp was the Audio research ref 5se , utterly real and sadly missed . the bel canto pre amps are not as good but they are very enjoyable too and a lot cheaper

    yes the moonriver was not bad but i must confess i found it a bit polite . the norma has bite and its very smooth . I only heard the leben some years ago with these at a show so hard to compare . i do prefer the norma i think
