Bob, Your rendition of the Alsyvox is spot on IMO and is very well put. Having been an audio guy demanding music to generate emotion these speakers get to a final stop of finding what I was after. I agree with this totally. This hobby is all about personal enjoyment and what moves YOURSELF emotionally. Just don't get in a hurry making a decision based on others.......make sure you let your own reality make the choice and remember all things in a system matter. Amplifiers are just one...- gwalt

Kris, The Alsyvox only draws a few WPC at most any listening levels. I forgot to mention my amps. can be switched to pure Class A with power rating of 60WPC with a conversion to AB up to 250WPC. Depends on a lot of factors which setting I prefer. The new room will be like tuning all over again...- gwalt

My new room will be 19 X 30 X9H. Amps. used are the T+A M10 monos. Latest versions are the M60's. Both are Hybrids which I find perfect on the ribbons and both are 1000 WPC into 4 Ohm.- gwalt

Hey Bill, I sold my Gamut RS7i's and my friend in Chicago sold his Magico Q3's.....both of us own the Botticelli........someday will add the X crossovers. Lots of choices out there but the Alsyvox checked all the boxes.;) Gwalt- gwalt

T+A M40 HV Review
Hey Rower30, Thanks for the review. I own the older version of the M40....the M10 that made the refined M40 able to be born. The newest version (M40) simplified the tube voltage used in the gain stage thus you have 4 tubes and I have 6. However I find my older M10's still provide the same goods...- gwalt
