    Alsyvox planars...prepare to sell your Magico's, YG's, Wilson's, Cessaro's. Maggie's, and all others!!

Bob, Your rendition of the Alsyvox is spot on IMO and is very well put. Having been an audio guy demanding music to generate emotion these speakers get to a final stop of finding what I was after. Music emotion can be defined by each listener and no one can define it for them. What a great...

Thanks Bob, I could not have explained near like you can. But again, that's in the past so best of luck in the future. May the sales be with you. I get so many relaxing and fun moments with these speakers as I am sure the other owners do as well. You are so fortunate to have them in your...

I agree with this totally. This hobby is all about personal enjoyment and what moves YOURSELF emotionally. Just don't get in a hurry making a decision based on others.......make sure you let your own reality make the choice and remember all things in a system matter. Amplifiers are just one...

Kris, The Alsyvox only draws a few WPC at most any listening levels. I forgot to mention my amps. can be switched to pure Class A with power rating of 60WPC with a conversion to AB up to 250WPC. Depends on a lot of factors which setting I prefer. The new room will be like tuning all over again...

My new room will be 19 X 30 X9H. Amps. used are the T+A M10 monos. Latest versions are the M60's. Both are Hybrids which I find perfect on the ribbons and both are 1000 WPC into 4 Ohm.

    AlsyVox Botticelli with external crossovers

Myself and a friend would like to pair up and buy the external crossovers also if it was not for these expensive money pit houses we are building. I had two other owners of the Botticelli (after adding the crossovers) tell me the cost represents better bang for the buck than any upgrade of a...

    T+A M40 HV Review

I was lucky to find the line since I wanted to end the pain of "spend a lot to gain a little". This brand did that for me. I did not attend Axpona but a friend of mine from Chicago did and told me their room had components with the lid off so you could view the makings and said they were...

    T+A M40 HV Review

Hey Rower30, Thanks for the review. I own the older version of the M40....the M10 that made the refined M40 able to be born. The newest version (M40) simplified the tube voltage used in the gain stage thus you have 4 tubes and I have 6. However I find my older M10's still provide the same goods...

    AlsyVox Botticelli with external crossovers

Thanks Philippe and I know my question was not on topic of room dimensions and build quality on Alsyvox set up. My BAD as this topic is trial and error. It still helps to know you have tried different wire and your success was in the power cords. Since the dedicated line wire from the circuit...

    AlsyVox Botticelli with external crossovers

PhP, Know anyone who has experimented with various hookup wire to a dedicated circuit with its own circuit board? Most electricians use Romex with a designated value unless the client presents something other meeting code. Looking for ideas that make a notable difference. I am using an HB...

    AlsyVox Botticelli with external crossovers

PhP Thanks so much for this information. I know every room is different but outside this for Alsyvox owners Daniele explained on line to me that the best advice was to make sure the room was "tight" via 1.5 inches (triple) of drywall for example. Do what it takes to avoid any vibrating of the...
