@Mike Lavigne - In your opinion what is that price point when less is more ? I have been hearing this in my system where I was going from a mola mola tambaqui -> ps audio bhk pre. In effect there was attenuation 6v -> 4v and from 44 ohms -> about 200. Yes the sound was 'warmer' at the expense...
I used the browser really - so ip address:9000
So this is just Logitech MS and instead using ipeng i would just use the browser- so no roon, no upnp.
In terms of my sonic feelings, i would say i had quite enjoyed 1.4.9 - the only reason i went to 2 was curiousity.
If you are enjoying the sound...
I know this might not be fair and the more logical comparison might be with Everest and the Niagra 7000.
I dont have a dedicated line. I tried the Everest(with the Sigma xc) - after letting it burn in for about 100 hours, maybe i should have let it burn more.
I did find improvements in stage -...
i can try, but these are very early days and so i need to listen more.
From a software pov:
1. For me personally its not a game changer - slicker ui et all but the previous experience worked fine for me as well
2. Yeah i suppose with qobuz playlists things are better and you can save stuff...
Not sure about the diff between the integrated vs tambaqui. Such a revealing dac, it truly does shine the light on both good and bad recordings. Love the detail, the clarity, the soundstage both height and width. Its a great experience.
