Since routers and APs for home usage continue to generate noise, polluting our home electrical grid network no matter how many audiophile routers/switches we use for our hi-fi system. I wonder if you could share some configurations or experience that can reduce this type of interference. For...
I believe the only way to achieve 100% galvanic isolation from the mains is by connecting your entire hi-fi system to a battery, such as a Stromtank or similar device, and disconnecting it from the mains. Oh, and make sure the earth is not connected.
There is nothing in the world that can 100% remove noise. It still gets dumped into the power grid through grounding, polluting downstream equipment. Although my music server does not connect with the home network, the sound quality is still affected by changing the power supplies of the home...
It was reassembled by a Chinese CAS enthusiast a few years ago to integrate with his optimized Windows 8.1 OS. However, the author has already stopped updating it due to the dramatic degradation of sound quality in newer versions, and he has lost interest in it.
There has been some discussion...
Actually, it's the opposite, honestly. With a highly optimized Windows kernel and services, Roon could be better than other music streaming applications. The version of Roon I'm using has been reassembled by someone and stripped of many unnecessary functions/codes. It has also been integrated...
It's the reason why I keep using version 1.7. In my opinion, I have found that earlier versions of Roon have the most natural sound compared to other players such as HQP, JRiver, JPlay, and Foobar. I cannot find any other substitute with the ability to remotely control and with an even close...
One of my friend made the comparison when there are so called good sounding version published but he's disappointed everytime.
Actually, it's also a pretty normal logic that more fancy functions lead to sound degradation.
Disabling DSPs, removing filters, import files using metadata from files...
I believe QSA is just similiar to SCHNERZINGER which claim of the "atomic bonding" technology and actaully are all being processed by some sort of burn-in machine.
If anyone ever been tried to listen to cables processed with Telos QBT, the sound signature are so much different that it really...
That is the "fault" of ROON, it has been coded for different profiles among remote devices such as android, IOS tablet/mobile phone and Windows. The differences is due to the data communication amount.
I've just purchased a set of CS2M 0.8 to replace my CS2 0.8 between the component and the Black Platinum platform. Are there any good to replace the spikes under the Black Platinum platforms with the CS2 0.8?
Why not? Changing parts in PC just like changing components in a CD transport. The noise pattern are all different among the HDD/SSD and NVME.
Everything matters.
By using the Belkin lightning ethernet adapter, just press the slide button on your iphone to put it in sleep mode will also disconnect the belkin's power, which has the same effect of disconnecting the remote devices.
