Here is my review so far of the LS 1.5 feet . I am about a week and a half into replacement of my M pods on my M3 speakers. I was very reluctant to replace these fine feet ,but I threw caution to the wind & took the gamble. The M pods are excellent products which perform fantastic on the Magico’s. After installing the LS 1.5 feet , I was astounded by the results after the first few hours of music . My first impression was it seemed as if a blanket had been taken off the soundstage. Like steve’s example of going from standard definition to 4K. Better bass , clearer highs in the mids & high end. Day 2-4 things deteriorated in bass , but clarity stayed clear . Day 5-7 bass improved & soundstage grew vastly. Almost like speakers placed to the sides of chair. I am excited to hear improvements as the days come. I will post more as the days progress , but I can firmly say these feet have done wonders I never thought possible . Highly recommended to say the least.

Are you using with or without adapters on your Wilsons? Probably not safe without adapters on heavy speakers? Do you have pictures with adapters?
Why do u need pictures? There is a short threaded rod coming out of the top. Nothing mysterious....

There must be more to it than that as there is no threaded hole in the top of the LS1.5 - unless they make a different version to use with the adapter.

I think that is likely the case Joe

@joelavrencik Using adapter, how do you have to replace the adapter after speaker change? Is it just screwing off old and replace with new?

Hi knghifi

Thank you for the question. Our LS feet would come to you with our adapters inserted to the thread specification of the loudspeaker. You would unscrew the current feet and screw in the LS feet.

So , it’s time to have an update on the marvelous LS1.5 feet. After 3 weeks of listening,, all I can say is wow ! Bass is full & tight , with mids & highs all in perfect proportions. The clarity is off the charts and soundstage is enveloping. It has taken my M3 speakers to a new level never dreamed possible. This upgrade is one of the best upgrades I ever spent money on, imho. Details are there in spades in all octaves. I would recommend these feet to any person who wants to improve their speaker, no matter what level of quality.

Congratulations on improving your speakers even more. Do you plan to sell the Magico M Pods to another M3 owner?

I heard M Pods is no longer an option for M Series but part of the supplied accessories. So expect to pay $10K extra whether use them or not.

FWIW we now have several Magico M series owners who have switched out the Mpods for the LS 1.5 and are reporting the same exact thoughts.

There will be Mpods for sale I’m betting. There was a review that I read on AS comparing the 2 and the feeling was also that the LS 1.5 produced better sound but strangely that review was taken down shortly after it was posted. Mpod users are telling us that the Mpods are terrific but the Center Stage LS Series is better.

My feeling about the LS series of feet is that they are Joe’s best product to date and are designed to function with virtually most speakers. The best of all worlds is what audiophiles seek...They want the best speaker and then should be allowed to seek out the option. where an after market foot can be used to improve the sound. They all work differently so let the user decide Soulution already uses Joe’s feet on their products because Soulution wanted to provide the best for their clients and Center Stage outperformed Soulution’s stock feet. I was kind of surprised to read that M series new buyers will have to pay $10K more as the Mpods are no longer an option.

Karan Acoustics new Master Collection amps and preamps also have CS feets...

“After extensive evaluations, we chose to use CMS (Critical Mass Systems) CS2 isolation/support feet for all our Master Collection products. They exhibit a minimal transfer of mechanical and airborne resonances and feedback to the chassis and electronic circuits inside. Preamplifiers and power supply units have CS2-1.0 isolation/support feet, while all power amplifier use the larger CS2-1.5 model. All our components are internally wired with Cardas Audio pure copper chassis wire.”

Hi knghifi

Thank you for the question. Our LS feet would come to you with our adapters inserted to the thread specification of the loudspeaker. You would unscrew the current feet and screw in the LS feet.
What if you change speakers and the thread size is different. Can the user change the thread size on the LS feet? Can the manufacturer make the change or do the feet have to be replaced?

This is a great question. Thank you kernelbob. The owner can order a new set of adapters, unscrew the old set and screw in the new set. Easy.

Thank you again for the question.

Yes, Milan is a great guy. We are very proud he chose us. The reviews his Master collection have received are excellent. It is an honor for us to support his outstanding engineering.

Another review that is just breaking is the Soulution 760 DAC in TAS by Jon Valin. Jon is a tough critic so if he doesn't like something........ouch. I have the whip marks to prove it. :)

Seriously, Cyrill has been making outstanding equipment for years. He asked us to make feet for his equipment years ago, as a result CS2 exists primarily due to him. Thank you for the leap of faith, Cyrill.

This is a groundbreaking day for me, a professional triumph. Back in 2018, The Absolute Sound published my interview with Neil Gader in the January issue. Neil asked an important question, and here was my answer:

“Looking towards the future, how will high-end systems change in the next ten years or so?
Great question! There is an imaginary “wall” that exists at the front plane of the loudspeakers separating the musicians from the listener. We live with it every day and have come to accept it as “normal.” We’re going to knock down that wall by dramatically lowering the noise floor using new innovations in material science. You can’t do this with earbuds. The technology is already inside analog and digital components, and we’re catching up to them using material science innovations in our support systems today.”

Today, is the 1st day of a new era in high end audio. Center Satge2 technology has rendered the 4th wall ancient history. Dead. Gone. We have entered the era of “REALISM” in high end audio, the intersection of detail, musicality and emotional connection brought about by vanishing noise floors revealing the engineering genius poured into audio components.

Granted, knocking down the 4th wall may require combined CS2 technology for components and loudspeakers in some cases, but nonetheless I think this calls for a celebration.

From November 20, 2020 until December 31, 2020 in the United States and Canada, you can purchase 5 CMS LS1.5 ot LS1.0 feet and get the 6th free or 7 LS1.5 or LS1.0 feet and get the 8th free. If you get your order and payment into any US dealer or our Canadian Distributor by the 12/31/2020 deadline, this offer is good regardless of when we ship the feet.

Unfortunately, there are a couple of disclaimers/disqualifiers. Please note LS 1.5 and LS1.0 feet will not work with every loudspeaker design as the entire top surface of the foot must be covered by the bottom of the loudspeaker. CMS reserves the exclusive right to evaluate loudspeakers for applicability. If we feel the loudspeaker is not a candidate for the LS design, this offer is null and void. Also, it is important to purchase the quantity of LS1.5 or LS1.0 feet that equals the number of feet with which your loudspeaker was originally shipped. For example, if a pair of speakers were shipped with 6 feet, you should buy 6. If a pair of loudspeakers were shipped with 8 feet, you should buy 8 feet.

Today is a brand-new day for high end audio!
