It always amazes me how different digital can sound between units.

I'm sorry to the forum that I was impressed and really liked the sound of this unit. How DARE I get excited about a new unit that has given me the best sound I've yet to have from digital.

I promise I'll work on being a better person and not sharing my feelings and never use the offensive and triggering word "wow" again when I really like something for fear of triggering some people.

I'm so ashamed of myself for having a positive reaction to a piece of gear.

I'll just mope and hang my head in shame.

I've not heard of the brand. Is it American? Used Innuos the last 10 years and another UK unit for 5 years before that. On first seeing the logo it took me back to the 1970s.


These were hugely popular over here in the UK and a lot more fun than a €17,500 server.

I have been scolded for enthusiasm as well. I used to have a system thread and happily reported on every little improvement. For some reason, some highfallutin killjoy gentlemen, who obviously thought highly of themselves, mistook all that for me thinking that my system was the best ever. A pretentious and ridiculous assumption, but it dampened my enthusiasm a bit and gave me second thoughts on starting a new system thread with my new gear. I didn't.

Anyway, just carry on with your enthusiasm, it's a good thing.

Personally, like others, I was not particularly enamored with the "teaser" but as I said, everyone has their own style. Fortunately djsina2 posted the info in #5.

I understand and appreciate the feedback.

I only had time for a quick post and was going to follow it up with a more in-depth one shortly. I figured that was an easy way to just get a quick pic up and some thoughts.

It wasn't an attempt to drag it out - it was simply sort of a 'book mark' for me to come back and share more once my parents leave at the end of this weekend.

It was a simple question to a simple post that, in my view and others, lacked simple, basic information. And my reaction to yet another hyperbolic post about a new dac. But I am glad you like "it", whatever "it" is. What's sad, or perhaps ironic, is your complete misunderstanding, overreaction and anger. Bye.
