The choice now goes between conrad johnson and Lamm. The GAT2 is not currently for sale, only an old GAT series 1 is being advertised.

Not yet final - the KT120's can not be discarded so fast ...
It is not just the question of electronics - cables, subs and tweaks should also be considered.

The cj ARTs also win in a point - they have decent speaker terminals, not the fancy WBT's of the Lamm and the VTL, that do not allow a firm lock with some heavy or less flexible cables and hurt our fingers!

I am using the GAT2 + ART monoblcks as a set. As you know, the GAT 2 is a superb preamplifier!

very nice! I can imagine each set does things incredibly well and perhaps differently as well. Will be interesting to learn what you end up keeping. Both amazing choices and each with its own special magic.
