vinyl protection

hey guys, i just got my first vinyl which is very exciting. The vinyl is a gatefold cover and came in these thick paper sleeves, now im wondering if i should change them to a thinner paper sleeve or a ponylined antistatic sleeve. Are these thick sleeves that came with the vinyl originally any good?

Welcome to wbf. Papar sleeves are not good as they charge static. Go for plastic anti static sleeves.

Papar sleeves can also scratch the vinyl.

Paper sleeves leave paper dust on records. See my post below for a couple of alternatives.
