Yes indeed, and here is an annoncement!

The Totaldac d1-sublime DAC has been tested by Audiotechnique in Hong Kong and writes as a teaser (automatic translation):

Haha! Yes, let all the "Audio Yentas" figure out the crony conspiracy that runs rampant on WBF-everyone knows the reputation here. TD is a great product, I've spent alot of time with it at home in my system as a consumer. Not a dealer/distributor/reviewer shill... Probably one of THE best DACs I've had in here and I've had some owned or heard some big name DACs. But at the risk of being a "Yenta" I will leave them out of this.

Keep up the RIDICULOUSLY great design Totaldac.

Sorry, I don't subscribe to your opinions on knocking other people. I don't respect those that throw stones at others.

I have no beef with Alon, he is my friend. As far as I know Alon had the TD in his shop to see how it sounded like the many other digital front ends that I mentioned over the last several years. He is NOT using TD currently and has not used TD for over a year in the Magico shop or did he use it at any show in the last year that I am aware of.

I also have nothing against the TD product, it's one of the high end digital offerings in the market. I respect it.

My only comment was and nothing more than that was the misleading statement that was made about TD having been selected to be used in the Magico showroom with the M9, M7s and S3. It was not. The M7s and S3s did not even exist when the TD was at the Magico factory for evaluation.

Now I will let it go. Nothing more to say.

Who really cares about a minor misstatement. What might be important you being a (shill) dealer isn’t necessarily important to the rest of the group. I personally wouldn’t send any business your way because of your overall demeanor and that includes over the phone…Guess that sponsorship here is working out well.

This is a Totaldac thread not a who shows in the Magico Room thread. Send Vincent a personal message if you have a person issue with something he said.
