I happened to see this film yesterday afternoon with a few hours to spare. It is being billed as the "almost" sequel to Knocked Up and is written and directed by Judd Apatow and consists of his usual cast of characters in most of his movies, including Paul Rudd, Leslie Mann and Apatow's 2 young daughters playing their 2 daughters as they did also Knocked Up. There are strong cameo appearances by Albert Brooks and John Lithgow playing their dysfunctional fathers with Brooks playing a down and out who leeches everything from his son whereas Lithgow plays Mann's estranged father who she hasn't seen in 7 years. He is a spine surgeon, remarried with a younger wife and younger children as is Brook's character also remarried with a younger 2nd family. Megan Fox is also in the film as is Melissa McCarthy,Jason Segel and Tatum O'Neil.
The movie was surprisingly funny with some scenes being gut wrenchingly funny. It is all about midlife crises and becoming 40 in a completely dysfunctional family
This is definitely worth the 134 minutes of your time as I guaranty you some very funny moments. Short of that it is definitely worth a rental or even buying to have it in your video library. The out takes at the end during the rolling credits were also hilarious with Melissa McCarthy
