Estelon X Diamond Mk II$78k. More cones in a box. At least it is not Wilson or Magico. Heavy weight, high price, low effieciency, questionable impedance curve.yet it sounds great. Has anyone heard it?

Not too negatively biased are we?

The engineering has similarities to Vivids which I own and I find exceptional. Very few speaker designers / companies employ non - parallel wall cabinets and non - wood cabinets. That in itself is a big plus IMO. All that said I haven't heard them but I bet they're something special especially for $78k with today's inflation would be closer to $70K a year back.

Yes, with Vitus amplifiers. Sounds was surprisingly good. Coherent despite the woofer being far away from the mid and tweeter (I guess the crossover is low enough that lobbing is not a serious issue). Transparent but perhaps having a tonality on the lighter side of the spectrum. Dynamics ok but clearly not in the good horn territory. I could think of better ways to spend 80k but it would be a really good 25K speaker.
