So 2 months ago on my birthday my gf had asked me to keep the March 12/13 weekend free for a surprise (by which she meant don't book any hifi trips). The surprise unfolded with me finding myself on a plane to Zurich where she had booked tickets for us to attend Rossini's Le Comte Ory because it starred Cecilia Bartoli (I started listening to opera because of her Vivaldi album). Great opera, I normally don't enjoy watching them, just like the music, but this was fun to watch as well.
