Replacement stand-alone motor (either prebuilt or kit) for Marantz turntable

I have a Marantz TT-15s1 that has a stand-alone AC motor that powers the platter via a belt. I've recently moved to the UK so I'm trying to find some way to make this work with the 220-240v here (my current motor is 120v). I've contacted Marantz suppliers and they're looking into it, but it doesn't look hopefull. Does anyone have any suggestions for a kit or another stand-alone motor that I could jerry-rig to work in this setup?

I've also been looking at voltage step-down converters, but these don't generally also regular the frequency, so the output would still be 50hz, which would presumably affect the AC motor speed. Or are there cheap options out there?

Often the voltage problem is handled with a converter and the speed problem is handled with a new pulley.

It might be less trouble and expense if you were to store the Marantz and buy a local, perhaps used, RP3.
