I refurbished this table for a buddy. The platter was mirror polished, the plinth dampened with 3M dampening foil and a new base made from tiger maple. I did update it with IEC and RCA connectors.

Nice but still has some rumble from the idler. So working on a modded idler. Either machine and resleeve a bronze bushing or press fit a needle bearing and then new rubber.

I've used Duct Seal (like clay, stays soft) on underside of platter and inside of hollow plinth with good results. However, it's impossible to maintain a consistent thickness so I was concerned about creating unexpected nodes.
