One of the true pioneers of our industry. And he created outstanding products for the "blue collar" crowd. RIP.

I hope / trust that Grado will continue as a viable company in the future.

I was going to respond to this when I first saw it, but decided against it. It's been sticking in my craw ever since and I have to say something.

The "blue collar" remark is totally uncalled for as it had nothing to do with the accomplishments Mr. Grado achieved. You really should have left that sentence out.

Thank you Mr. Grado for giving me hours upon hours of enjoyment with your headphones and enabling us to make real science with them (most of my codec team used Grado headphones). Rest in peace.

I agree John. A most unwelcome expression that shows only a complete lack of taste.
