I'm sure this Wells Audio amps sounds great, but its awful threadbare inside and the transformer looks tiny. It looks like a blinged out Odyssey Stratos for $15k. What am I missing?
Resurrecting an old post. I Just bought sh an Innamorata Signature to replace my Stratos Extreme Monos. The Wells is in a very different league. At least in my system. Sound improvements are substantial. Happy to elaborate if anyone is interested

Similar to the BAT VK200 I had many years ago...putting the boards directly in contact with the heat sinks is not a bad idea at all and it looks like signal path is short. As I don't think it is a Class A amplifier then the transformer is likely to be large enough.
