I think I was hooked on hifi when I was 4,my uncle had a hifi and always played Sing along with Mitch. The addiction really took hold in my high school years when I received a Fisher 500C. The real hook was when I walked into Garland Audio and heard the Fulton J's.
Anyway have collected gear forever and have learned that it's best to listen for enjoyment and learn what makes your gear click. Once you know that....just sit back and enjoy. I like a "live" sound where I can feel the sound as it drips with the emotion that the artists convey.
Looks to be a very nice site with a lot of like minded people. I want to thank Myles for the invite.

Hi Roger! Welcome! All the guys are great here and I'm loving it here. Just like with everyone else, I'm learning a lot and I am looking forward to your input.
Interestingly, I bought the first pair of Fulton J's that John Garland ever sold in his San Jose, CA, store, and I had them and enjoyed them for almost twenty-five years. Does anyone know if John is still around? Is he still alive and well, or did he pass?
