Hi guys,

you may recognize me from other forums. I'm Xavier Cortes from Mexico.

Although not an expert as many of you I've been well into this hobby for some years already. I have a tendency to build things myself. I'm addicted to analog and haven't seriously listened for a CD for many years.

I have a two way system comprised of a Garrard 301 with EMT tonearm and an Ampex ATR-102 RtR deck with Bottlehead electronics as sources. Preamplification and amplification is via (modified and with Magnequest iron) Bottlehead kits. Speakers are edgarhorns (triamped with the crossovers being part of the amps) and the midrange drivers have been replaced with 90 year old RCA field coil drivers. I have a set of MDR-R10 cans too that sound heavenly.

I also have a nice decent diy HT system with Bottlehead amps and Pi Four speakers.

I'm here to have fun.
