Hello ... new guy here, Detroit area.
I've been a music enthusiast since I was a small kid and an "audiophile" since I was a teen, but only have been somewhat serious about it in the past ten years or so. I've got a modest system in a dedicated room and have a firm commitment to both LPs and CDs; I have not (yet?) ventured over to the world virtual media. I hang around with some like-minded locals and we listen to great tunes on some nice gear and have a lot of fun with it.
I've been to several shows, most recently AXPONA in Chicago and RMAF in Denver, and I enjoyed each very much. I've been looking around at RMAF discussions (and comparing my own notes) and found this forum. Nice place!
