This small ao44.jpg 6GW8 with fender preamp.jpg Hammond organ reverb amp sounds wonderful and I'm looking to get some more gain out of it. I am attempting to build totally from new and seeking the power transformer. The voltage on the Hammond organ AO44 schematic says 250vacct, When I measure both sides of the center tap I get 281vac without the rectifier tube in on one that is stock I have. Should I assume that I could use a power transformer of proper current with a voltage anywhere between these voltages?
