Flight

Saw this film yesterday and wow was I pleasantly surprised. The film was just over 2 hours and although it dragged somewhat in parts overall it was a chilling movie with Denzel Washington playing an alcoholic and drug addicted flight captain who manages to land a doomed aircraft with over 100 souls on board, resulting in 6 deaths and how the NTSB investigates the crash.

Great cast of characters and although I doubt very much it will win Best Picture, I do believe that Denzel will not only receive the Nomination for Best Actor, based on the films I have seen to date all year he will win the Oscar for Best Actor

This film is riveting as we watch the airplane go down as Denzel pulls off an amazing move that saves the day. The only other film that I thought was as equally intense was the plane crash in Cast Away with Tom Hanks in 2000

Definitely worth seeing. It won't disappoint
