Please join us for an open house in our new facility on Bainbridge Island, WA. We've been working hard for the past few months putting together a new space that will feature a high quality listening room, a headphone listening salon, and that has room for classes, audio club meeting and general audio mischief as well as housing the office, lab and packing and shipping facilities for Bottlehead and The Tape Project.

It's not all finished yet, but we are excited to share our new digs with the community, so we are hosting an open house Friday October 22nd from 6-9 p.m. We'll have beverages, a little nosh, lots of good music playing and our dear friend and Tape Project recording artist Jacqui Naylor will be here to sign your CDs and Tapes and maybe even sing us a song or two.

Our main system will be playing a selection of Tape Project tapes and you will also be able to hear some of the headphone setups we have been showing at various Head-Fi meets. We'll even be having a drawing for Quickie battery powered preamp.

So come on by! Bottlehead Corp. is located in the Sportsman Business Park at 9415 Coppertop Loop, Suite 101, Bainbridge Island, WA 98110. It's an easy 5 minute drive from the Bainbridge Island Ferry. We can be reached at 206-451-4275.

Hi Steve,

We would love to see you there. You would take a flight from OAK to SEA (or maybe Virgin America from SFO to SEA, a longer trip to the airport for you, but a really nice airline)
From SEA you can take the new light rail to the Pioneer Square station in Seattle for a couple bucks, and it's about a six block walk to the Bainbridge Island ferry. Or you can cab it from the airport to the ferry terminal for about $40. I will try to figure out some way to organize car pools from the ferry terminal to the office on our side of the water, as it is just a five minute drive (there are also taxis at the Bainbridge terminal). By the way there is a Best Western hotel on Bainbridge Island just a few minutes drive from our office.

We've been busy with trade shows every weekend for the past few weeks and we're heading to RMAF next week, so we haven't gotten a whole lot done in terms of room treatments yet. That's why I'm callling this a "work in progress". I will try to borrow some more treatments for the event so folks can get a good feel for where the room is headed sonically.
