I saw Him play at age 88 still great, a sad loss RIP.
WKCR FM & Internet are playing all his stuff today.

Sadly dwindling population. Saw 80th birthday concerts of Roy Haynes and Jimmy Heath at the Blue Note-not to mention McCoy Tyner who's in his 80s. Amazing considering what happened to many of their peers :(
