Biker was already too close at times with stopping distance if something went wrong ahead with the Merc, bloody risky on such roads IMO.

Jack, was interesting the biker started to close the gap at max speed and then Merc opened up again with the bike already max'd.
But at lower speeds the acceleration of the bike would had made it easy I agree.
