Does anyone know how the bass works? The earlier info described a built-in bass amp of 2500W but my distributor told me there is no AC input.

Hey Roysen,

good to see you here...look at the photo of the back of the speaker in this thread. It looks like there is an AC inlet to the left of the speaker cables with a 'rocker switch'...no? I am not sure what that is for however. Is it for an amp, or more like for something else like an electro-magnetic woofer control like the Focal Grande Utopia EMs?

The switches to the right of the speaker cables say LF Contour: Transient Speed or Extension, Master Gain switch, etc

I wouldn't mind sitting in front of those evil looking things in my room. I like the Pass Labs XS powered pic.

Lay out your $300k and they're all your's. And I don't think I could look at them for an extended period.

But with the lights out or very dim, I doubt you would see much anyway as I imagine they would disappear. How's that cable audition going ?

The ICs weren't long enough. He had to order a 2M pair to go from my preamp to amp. I told him to wait until he had a full set. No idea how long it will be now. The Torus did the trick though, everything is sounding great again!

That is the most important thing...it sounds great again. You have been tortured way to long. I am glad things are back to spec. My pre to amp is 5 meters.

That isn't long at all.

Mine are almost 15 meters apart. My sources and preamp and amps are on opposite ends of the room. That's the beauty of balanced cabling.

Christian,

Mine are of similar lenght - it is one of the reasons I never tried the Odin's in my current system. It could become a very expensive experiment ...
