Graham 2.2 and the Benz LP-S: Getting them to work together?

I want to upgrade from a Benz LP to an LP-S using a Graham 2.2. The max. wt. for the G 2.2 is 15g and the LP-S is 16.7g. But I have an extra (two in total) of the add-on counter weights that would easily attach to the back of the one already on the arm. This would add an additional 34g. to the counter weight. Does anyone see a reason this wouldn't work to get the LP-S mated to a G 2.2?

I would call Bob Graham and ask him. I would take his advice over 1000 audiophiles who may or may not know what they are talking about.

I can't see any reason why it should be a problem. It might even be an advantage since you'd now be setting the counterweights closer to the pivot point than before.
